Privacy Policy

Court Vision ("Court Vision", "we", "us" or "our") is a Lebanese company that designs and sells an AI line-calling and camera system for padel courts. We work with clubs, players, court builders, partners and investors.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and related conversations (for example when you fill in a form, book a meeting or message us), why we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. We are the party responsible for (the "controller" of) that information.

We follow Lebanese Law No. 81 of 2018 on Electronic Transactions and Personal Data. Because we work with customers outside Lebanon, we have also written this policy to meet the standards of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies to you.

This policy covers the website only. Personal data processed by an installed Court Vision system at a club (for example match footage) is covered by the agreement with that club and any notices the club provides.

Information you give us.

• Contact and quote requests: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, company or club name, the type of visitor you are (for example player, club owner, court builder, partner or sponsor) and your message.
• Meeting bookings: your name, email address, phone number, company, the topic you choose, the date and time you pick, and your time zone so we can show the meeting in your local time.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Messages to us: anything you send us by email, phone or messaging apps, together with your name and number or address as shown by that service.

Information collected automatically.

• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and the page you submitted a form from. We use your IP address to block spam and limit repeated submissions.
• Usage data: pages you visit, how you move around the site and actions such as clicking a contact button or downloading our catalog. This is collected through analytics and advertising cookies only if you accept them (see Cookies).
• Campaign data: if you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, we record the campaign details in the link (UTM parameters such as source, medium and campaign), any ad-click identifier, the page you landed on and the referring website. This is stored in your browser and sent with any form you submit so we know which campaign brought you to us.

We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or sensitive data (such as health information) on this website. Please do not include such information in your messages.

• To reply to your questions and prepare quotes and proposals.
• To schedule, confirm and hold meetings you book, and send reminders.
• To manage our relationship with clubs, builders, partners and investors.
• To send you our newsletter or product updates, if you have asked for them.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it, and to measure which ads and campaigns lead to enquiries (only with your consent).
• To keep the website secure and protect it from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means alone that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Steps before a contract / performing a contract: answering quote requests, booking meetings and dealing with customers.
• Legitimate interests: responding to general enquiries, running and securing our website, preventing spam and abuse, and growing our business. We balance these interests against your rights, and you can object at any time.
• Consent: analytics and advertising cookies, sharing measurement data with advertising partners, and our newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.
• Legal obligation: keeping records we are required to keep by law, such as accounting and tax records.

Cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage and tracking pixels) are small pieces of data stored on your device. We use two kinds:

• Strictly necessary: used to remember your cookie choice and to make the website and its forms work. These are always on, because the site cannot work properly without them.
• Analytics and advertising: used to count visits, see which pages are popular and measure which ads lead to enquiries or bookings. These are provided by our analytics providers and advertising partners, and are set only after you click Accept on our cookie banner.

If you accept, and you then submit a form, we may also share your email address and phone number with our advertising partners in hashed (scrambled, one-way encoded) form, together with your IP address and browser details, so they can match the enquiry to an ad click. They are not given your message.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking Cookie Settings in the website footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you do, the banner may appear again on your next visit.

We share personal information only where needed, with:

• Service providers who help us run the business, such as hosting and database providers, email and messaging services, scheduling tools, analytics providers and advertising partners. They may only use the information to provide their service to us.
• Installation and distribution partners in your region, if you ask us for a quote or installation and a local partner needs your details to help.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities where we are required to by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
• A buyer or investor as part of a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality and this policy.

We are based in Lebanon, and some of our service providers store or process data in other countries, including the European Union and the United States. When your information is transferred out of your country, we take steps to protect it, for example by using providers that offer standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or an equivalent safeguard, or by relying on an adequacy decision where one exists. You can contact us for more information on these safeguards.

• Enquiries and meeting requests: up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer.
• Customer and contract records: for as long as the relationship lasts and then as long as the law requires (for example for accounting, tax or warranty purposes).
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Cookie and campaign data: according to the lifetime of each cookie, generally no more than 2 years. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear your browser data.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and limiting access to staff who need it. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your rights, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.

Subject to the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Delete your information when we no longer have a reason to keep it.
• Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
• Restrict how we use your information in certain cases.
• Portability: receive the information you gave us in a common machine-readable format, or have it sent to another organisation.
• Withdraw consent at any time, for example through Cookie Settings or the unsubscribe link in our emails.

To use any of these rights, email us at contact@courttvision.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will reply within one month, and will not charge you unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

This website is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website may link to other websites and services, such as social media pages or messaging apps. Their own privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the website or tell you directly where appropriate.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe a breach took place.
